However you view these factors, one thing is for certain. The day when we , as a human race evolves onto the next plain of existence, one or a combination of some of the before mentioned may play a significant role . Although I see little progress in addressing the UFO/ET problem to any form of congressional, scientific or independent panels, hearings or sub-committees, it doesn't mean that the problem isn't being addressed. The last I heard of any sort of briefing was in April of 1997 .Thirty members of Congress or their staff heard a briefing on UFOs. Rep. Dan Burton, R., Ind. chairman of the Government Reform and Oversight Committee, displayed some interest in the matter, but that was all.
To all of those out there who feel that the government is dragging their feet on this subject, how do we know that they are not addressing it? How do we know that the secrets involved in the military and governmental departments of this country are not taking a serious look at this. I admit that if they were placing a priority on the matter, than how could I - being a ordinary human being on this planet - be of some help to them? I couldn't , and I know I couldn't. There are some researchers out there who could possible be of some help to them. I'm sure they have been contacted with the strictest orders not to say anything to anyone. If the threat of bodily harm or defamation of character to those who would speak out is considered, then I doubt seriously if anyone would go against their word. Besides, I don't think that the government or the military needs any civilians. The military can recruit the best researchers our tax dollar can buy. UFOlogy has their prominent names and reputations , how do we know that the military or government doesn't have theirs? Remember , the government has known about UFOs and ETs far longer than we have. When I was a kid and there was talk on the radio of weather balloon sightings and swamp gas, I didn't know what they were talking about. I was young and stupid. If the Roswell Incident of 1947 is what it is said to be, the crash of a ETs spacecraft, then how much of a jump did the military have before the public looked at this incident alot closer? What is it , 20 - 25 years? UFOlogists who had begun studying this case then may have had their counterparts in the military retiring and drawing a pension at the same time.
All of us would like to know whether or not those in the 'know' have been deceiving the rest of the country for decade concerning the Roswell Incident. The rumors flying of kidnapping and murder are just that , rumors. Like the UFO/ET question , until positive proof of this can be found , it remains just that , rumor. It makes for good reading to those that take the subject as novelty, and it makes for good profit for those who use the subject negligently. That leaves the very few that are devoted to the subject as distressed.
The belief that our 'technical problem' that is soon to arrive on December 31, 1999 should be one of our primary concerns. It should be. Scientists, engineers and programmers are still not certain in where the problem lies. It was first reported that the old UNIX mainframes that many corporations are still using are the main targets of many. It seems now that researchers aren't really sure of what systems will be affected. Research in to the Y2K bug specified that certain computer operating systems to be affected , but yet a recent report states that more than the 90 million PCs running the old Windows 3.1 and DOS systems have serious year 2000 flaws.
A review in Byte Magazine in July, 1998 found minor to significant flaws in all versions of Windows PC operating systems, some versions of Novell Corp.s Netware and Dr.Dos and IBM Corp.s PC DOS. Dell computer Corp., one of the worlds largest sellers of personal computers , acknowledges that software in a key micro-chip on Dell PC circuit boards purchased before 1997 won't properly handle dates after Dec.31,1998 unless a AYchip - called a BIOS - is modified. The same problem plagues hundreds of millions of PCs produced by other companies as well.
So while the Larger Corporations have taken the leading attack on the year 2000 bug, they have mostly concentrated their efforts on mainframe computers running Cobol and other workhorse business software, while little attention has been placed in PCs for the most part. If you stop and look at this report , then you might conclude that they are doing the best they can and the giant mainframes may have to be placed first on the list before our little PCs can be examined. But Karl Feilder, chief executive of software developer Greenwich Mean Time, and PC program coordinator of the British governments year 2000 task force, had asked 1,000 of the largest U.S. companies What kind of equipment they were using to run their most important business, 64% were PCs , while only 8% were mainframes. While both Microsoft and Novell disputed Byte Magazine year 2000 findings, they contend that all of their new up-to-date software programs contain only 'minor bugs' and claim that even those bugs will be fixed well before January 1, 2000. Jason Matuso, Microsoft year 2000 strategy manager states that bugs found by Byte Magazine stem from the old BIOS chips, which are beyond the control of the software maker to correct since the chips are made by hardware manufactures.
I'm sure everyone involved will keep us updated to the year 2000 bug, that is if their systems don't go down first. I think you can see the urgency now in what is important and what isn't. Again , to even conceive that this problem had only gotten the attention it needed only now is what puzzles me.
While the occurrence of a Global Financial crisis has been predicted by those who believe that the 'grey' presents here on Earth is presently being considered in revealing this fact, let us not forget our current global markets present condition. Asian interests is falling steadily, while the Russian financial crisis is close to hitting bottom. South American currencies may also be in line with Russian currencies in a devaluation process. The uncertainty of Europe's planned monetary union on January 1, 1999 doesn't aid in the stabilization of the current tread as well.
Project Ascension that some have mentioned could be a welcomed relief to the economies of the world. This would certainly be a appropriate time to announce it with the current situations taken into consideration. I don't expect ET intelligence to pull us out of this mess , but any help at this point should be considered. But with so many pre-announcements of 'grey' or ET existence, I think I'll wait until I see this one on the national news ... program directors willing.
In respects to global warming, the news from researchers relating to our sun is worth concern. It's been reported that we are passed mid-way in a 11 year solar storm cycle that peaks in the year 2000. If you haven't seen the reports coming out over the Internet , then I would suggest you find and read some of these websites material. Researchers haven't come right out and said that the suns increased activity, or sunspots, is a result of the warmer temperatures all over the world , but it does make sense. Everything seems to fall into a domino type progression. I have never been one of those El Nino believers. El Nino is blamed for the warmer than normal ocean temperatures, thus creating more rain during the rainy season, thus creating more flooding , thus creating warmer conditions in the non-rainy season. El Nino has been a abnormal weather condition in the Pacific ocean for about the last 200 years. It peaks at various times causing more rain than usual. It seems that El Nino has been the scapegoat for the increase of unusual weather conditions, namely rain, within the last year. I can go along with that, but when the experts introduced La Nina, a weather condition that will be associated with less rain , then I begin to wonder. As far as I know , La Nina is not in the books. It seems to be a weather condition that the experts created this year. I guess the experts figure that if one goes along with well established El Nino weather phenomenon, then they would naturally associate it with La Nina. hmmm?
As with the current solar activity of the sun, this increased activity could easily be seen as the explanations for our wetter seasons in winter and spring and our warmer seasons in summer and fall. This is an assumption on my part and I wouldn't pursue it if it weren't for some incidents associated with global warming.
Antarctica's glaciers is still melting at a steady rate. All the glaciers in Montana's Glacier National Park will be gone in the next 50 - 70 years , according to researchers who have been measuring the rate that glaciers around the world are melting. Those glaciers are melting faster than scientists previously thought, according to the study by geologist Mark Meier, who presented his findings Tuesday at a meeting of the American Geophysical Union in Boston.
" The glaciers are receding and they're becoming thinner , and you can see this, " Meier said , placing the blame squarely on global warming. Meier and his research team at the University of Colorado at Boulder looked at characteristics of glaciers worldwide during the last 100 years, then compared the measurements with today's icecaps. They found that mid-latitude glaciers - those outside of Antarctica and Greenland - had receded and become thinner.
In the last century , the largest glacier on Mt. Kenya in Africa has lost 92% of its mass, and the glaciers in Russia's Caucasus Mountains have shrunk by half, Meier found.
In 40 years , the Tien Shan Mountain range between China and Russia has lost 22% of its ice.
Though glaciers outside arctic regions accounts for only 6% of the worlds ice, they contribute more heavily to changes in sea level, the researchers said.
The melting ice caps are contributing to rising sea levels that lead to beach erosion, more severe inland storms and more frequent river flooding, Meier said.
Although you could play around with the numbers in relation to time and amount of these areas decreasing , the fact here is that global warming is being blamed for the melting of the North and South poles, and the glaciers in between. And in turn , either air pollution - or more popularly known as Greenhouse gases - or El Nino is being blamed for global warming. I think that little attention has been put into the suns possible contributions into global warming.
You might ask how are sunspots and global warming related. As I stated earlier about 'plasma waves' that are a result from the sunspots, or sun storms sprewing matter into space, some of this matter sometimes points to earth. By the time some storms reach Earth, they produce little direct heat, but they still carry enormous amounts of electrical energy. One theory is that this electrical energy affects the water droplets in clouds. The electrical currents charge up the droplets, especially at the tops of the clouds where they are very cold and a very small amount of electrical charge causing them to freeze. The frozen droplets attract more water droplets causing them to grow heavier and this results in rain, also accompanied by lighting and thunder. After a huge rainstorm , the clouds are emptied , allowing the suns rays to heat the Earth directly and this is believed to cause a rise in temperature. El Ninos rains have never been questioned in my point of view , what I always questioned was How did the oceans warm quickly enough to cause El Nino to exist in the first place? El Nino comes in cycles, therefore it would be logical to assume that El Nino must be a result of some kind of other cycle. Perhaps even a solar cycle.
With all of the recent strange weather we have been having , it has been also stated on the Internet that The Navy was experimenting with HAARP. It is said that HAARP (High-frequency Active Aural Research Program) is a multi-purpose ' weapon ' according to what some say. On the Internet , these are some of the applications that the Navy will be using HAARP for:
(1)Enhancement of or interference with communications
(2)Investigation of effects on weather patterns
(3)Earth-penetrating topography -- an X-ray like function.
(4)Weapons-related (physical/psychological disablement) and mind control uses
(5)Large scale tampering/modification of global weather patterns via ionosphere disturbances
(6)Pushing the envelope in terms of pumping electromagnetic energy into the ionosphere, just to see what happens
This is what HAARPs primary objectives has been reported to us in the last 5 years by those on the Internet. They are disastrous to say the least. What I have always wondered was if the Navy had somehow destroyed the atmosphere performing these tests , then wouldn't they be in the same danger as the rest of us? Now use your heads people. Wouldn't you think that these experiments that the Navy is being suspected of performing might be a natural phenomenon that no one has control over? This sort of news would put the world in a frenzy. To say that the Navy is to blame would put a suggestion into the minds of many that the obvious events , one being the unusual electrical and magnetic thunder storms that the world has witnessed in the last few months were manmade , and not natural. Manmade things can be controlled whereas natural things can't.
All of the above mentioned HAARP project objectives fit the current solar activity effects of the sun. The weather changes are clear , the Enhancement of or interference with communications; the Earth-penetrating topography -- an X-ray like function; the pumping electromagnetic energy into the ionosphere objectives all are similar to the suns solar storms events. When these plasma clouds are coming towards the Earth, scientists (say) still don't know fully what the effects will be until they know the magnetic field orientation within the plasma cloud. Both the plasma cloud and the Earth have magnetic fields. If the two fields are in the opposite direction, they combine and particles flood into Earth's atmosphere. But if the fields are in the same direction, the cloud bounces off and passes. As with HAARPs alleged ionosphere testing, these plasma clouds that hit earth and combine both the plasma clouds and earth's magnetic fields resulting in a flood of electrical particles into our atmosphere, sometimes at dangerously high amounts. This is exactly what HAARPs experiments are said to be doing.
There had also been reports out of Western Australia of E/M ( Electro-magnetic?) weapons testing in the area. Presumably in the area of Alice Springs and said to be originating out of PineGap, the secret American D.U.M.B. In one instance in 1988 ( 1989 was the last peaking of these 11 year sun cycles) in Western Australia, There were reports by a group of individuals who said that HF radio systems, computers, vehicles all suffered burnt-out electrical circuits at 11.00 am one morning.� All of these systems were isolated from each other and spread apart by distances varying from 10 to 50 kilometers. At the time it was reported that they "joked about nuclear EMP blasts or UFOs".
Over recent years the Laverton district in western Australia has had a history of strange electrical events involving the burn-out of power station generators, overvoltage blow-out of power lines, interference on microwave telephone links, and radio receivers picking up powerful, sparking current-flow interference at specific times. This is extremely similar to the Quebec, Canada power outage of 1995 where all power was lost and random lights such as lamps were flickering off and on while the power was down. The explanation for this was that power lines in the area were absorbing the electro-magnetic static discharges in the air and that small electrical currents were running through the lines , causing lights to flicker when there was seemingly no power grids operating. This was due to the fact that Quebec is basically built on a bed of granite deep down in the Earth. The static electricity had no where to go because the granite bed prevented it from grounding itself out. It was reported that Quebec ended up with a $50 million repair bill, replacing generators and power lines that simply burnt out possibly due to the overload inability to ground itself out. In 1989 alone , sun storms caused hundreds of million of dollars in damage.
With documented confirmed reports like these, I can't see how man can accomplish the feats of nature on a scale as large as the imagination itself. We're either over estimating mans abilities to a plateau of super-human accomplishments or we may be under estimating our intelligent understanding of a situation that we believe exists simply by rumor and hearsay.
Another interesting note: During one of these plasma clouds events that swept across the heavens, In 1994, Canadian communications satellites E-1 and E-2 were knocked out of commission from what was called a Electromagnetic Static Discharge. In other words, the satellites overloaded from electromagnetic particles that engulfed them. They shorted out for a time. If we all remember the incident of May 19, 1998 when our Galaxy IV satellite suddenly went out, systems engineers scrambled on the ground to try and correct the problem while 90% of the more than 44 million pager customers nationwide lost service when the communications satellite spun out of control. Only the older paging networks - those still using ground-base transmission - were able to maintain service. According to PanAmSat officials, who operate the Galaxy IV satellite, Galaxy IV satellite began to rotate, losing the position necessary for communication transmissions. The automatic backup unit also failed , the company said. Galaxy IV, was built by Hughes Space and Communications in El Segundo ( Calif.)and launched five years ago.
The Galaxy IV failure disrupted news operations such as National Public Radio, countless radio stations and a wide range of businesses that use the satellite for credit card - verification systems at gas stations , department stores and supermarkets. A large number of private corporate networks - including those used by Ford Motor Co. , Microsoft Corp., Xerox Corp., Eli Lilly & Co. and New York Life Insurance .
CBS radio and television , the Chinese Television Network and the CNN Airport Network send feeds through Galaxy IV. CBS relies most heavily on Galaxy IV but had a backup plan and has not been affected by the outage, said spokeswoman Amy Malone. ABC and NBC also said their operations have not been affected.
Investigations into the Galaxy IV failure had on its list of possible causes, a bad command sent to Galaxy IV and a meteorite hitting it.
The last major outage occurred in September 1995 when a computer operator at Tulsa- based Space Com inadvertently sent out a command that turn off thousands of satellite receivers. That error resulted in a service blackout that lasted less than a day and affected millions of personal pagers. Did they ever find out what caused the Galaxy IV failure , or did they depend on the public simply losing track about it like I obviously have.
What struck me about the Galaxy IV failure is the sudden failure and back up systems going all at once. It was reported that Galaxy IV was rotating at 1 RPM . Funny thing is that when NASA found The SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory ) on July 23, 1998 after losing contact with it since June 25, 1998 , controllers said it was also rotating at a 1 RPM in which its solar batteries drained because of the rotation. What is this? When a cockroach dies, it lays on its back with its feet up in the air. When satellites die , do they simply shut down and rotate at 1 RPM? I wonder about plasma clouds and our satellites.
Back to the Leonid Meteorite Storms for a second. During the 2 day Leonid Meteoroid Storm and Satellite Threat Conference held in the spring of 1998, one interesting solution to the problem was that the meteorite showers debris consisting only of small particles could have the destructive power of a .22-caliber bullet. It was suggested by some scientists, satellite operators and insurers that 'turning off(?)' spacecraft or turning them away from the stream of particles might help. I don't see how turning off a satellite could prevent it from not being struck by a piece of meteorite debris, but turning off a satellite is exactly what is suggested when there is warning of a plasma cloud coming from the sun. A satellite has a lesser chance of shorting out if its systems are turned off. If Canada would have had warning of the plasma cloud that is believed to have affected its E-1 and E-2 satellites in 1994 , then they may had not been damaged. Both satellites were down for 5 months. This episode may have prompted the launch of SOHO in December 1995.
SOHO (Solar and Heliospheric Observatory ), was found on July 23, 1998 after NASA had lost contact with it on June 25, 1998. A bad command sent during a maintenance check is believed to be the cause of the more then likely lost of SOHO. If you look at where SOHO is and what is out there at the present time ... Some reports from the Internet assumes that a replacement for SOHO is far in the future. But from what I've found , another spacecraft was launched in August 1997 by the name of ACE. It is in the same general area of SOHO, a zero gravity position between the earth and the sun. . Ace carries a magnetometer, which measures the direction of the magnetic field of a approaching plasma cloud. It is now operational and is proving a valuable tool for measuring sun storm activity. I guess it was just luck that ACE is there when SOHO went down. Observers all over the world are noticing that the number of sunspots on the sun are beginning to increase, a indication that the sun is becoming more active. The sunspot maximum will peak in the year 2000. Some of these storms will hit the earth. I'm not on a sun storm kick right now, its just that sun storms seem to relate to alot of things that are a threat to us in the near future. I'm not getting my info from grey aliens or the secret military establishment, there's enough of that bull going around as it is.
I have taken material from on-line and thought it was authentic, but after opening my mouth instead of making sense of what I was saying, I found that alot of this stuff on the Internet is pure fantasy. You have to start from basics, start from the bottom floor and rework it. That's hard to do, to leave your favorite sci-fi series.
There was a post on one of the mailing list describing a UFO detector. This detector could possibly alert folks to a UFO in the general vicinity. It works by detecting the electro-magnetic pulses around you , the claimed propulsion system that fuels UFOs. I have no dispute about that. But if the electromagnetic activities in our atmosphere is increased due to these plasma clouds being absorbed by our atmosphere, then wouldn't you think that the needle would peg the red zone on your detector while our atmosphere was being bombarded by these electromagnetic charged particles?
There was also talk stating that a compass would move occasionally off of the North mark, indicating that the magnetic poles on earth were shifting. The story here of The Navy experimenting on messing with our magnetic poles has been circulating around too. Like I said, the atmosphere is presently going through a time when electrically charged particles are floating around. So ... What is interesting about this is that when the sun expels matter into space during one of these sun storms episodes, it is thought that the magnetic poles of the sun change momentarily. It has been predicted by some psychics and told to some people taken aboard alien spaceships to watch for a changing of the axis, or magnetic poles. I don't know if these 'sources' were referring to the Earth's magnetic poles, but perhaps the Suns magnetic poles?
There was also a theory that the Earth , every 35,000 years or so , goes through a phase where the magnetic poles reverse, shifting the planets weight 180 degrees for a period of time , a year I think. This 35,000 year cycle could possibly be a post result from the sun having such a cycle. We know much about this planet, but we don't know much about the sun in respects to its effects on this planet and itself over millions of years. Such as this planets shifts its axis every 3 months that results in the 4 seasons of our year , maybe the Sun goes through a similar cycle, but perhaps the months that earth changes seasons may be hundreds or thousands of years that the sun changes 'seasons'. Who knows.
All of the events that have been worrying this world in just the last year certainly sets the groundwork for some kind of un-natural or unknown intervention as we approach the new millennium. Whether the scientific community , the religious community , the technological community or the spiritual community can mend what damaged the world has done to itself, the true problems of our times can't be solved by the same ignorance, procrastination and self worth that has created this chaos in the last 50 years. The great minds of our times have foretold of these times. The good books have told us of things that will come to be. I know that there are benevolent beings in the universe. To think that there is no other intelligent life in the universe is imaginative. Imagination has driven us as a species to this point in time. Our imaginations are what motivates us. Imagination is similar to dreams. There are good ones and bad ones. We can awake from those nightmares that we have created, but we have to live with the ones that have created us.
